Sana’a: The body of Major Abdulwahid Yahya al-Fasir al-Marani, a martyr of the nation and the armed forces who lost his life in the Battle of the Long Breath, was laid to rest in Sana’a on Saturday. Alongside him, the body of Major Mohammed Ahmed Abdullah Al-Sadmi was also mourned by the community.
According to Yemen News Agency, an official funeral ceremony took place for both the martyr and the deceased. Attendees included prominent figures such as Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council Dhaifallah Ressam, Undersecretary of the Capital Secretariat Khaled Al-Madani, Chairman of the Zakat Commission Shamsan Abunshatan, Director of the Manpower Evaluation Department Brigadier General Abdulaziz Salah, and Deputy Director of the Military Pension Department Brigadier General Ahmed Al-Husseini. The ceremony was also attended by social figures, colleagues, and relatives of the deceased.
The funeral service for Major Abdulwahid Yahya al-Fasir al-Marani was conducted following prayers at Al-Shaab Mosque in the Capital Secretariat. He was then laid to rest in his hometown, marking a solemn moment for the community and the nation as they bid farewell to their martyrs.
