Taiz:The "Martyr Leader" Sayyid Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi Football Tournament officially commenced today in the Shar'ab al-Rawna District of Taiz Governorate, featuring six competitive teams.

According to Yemen News Agency, the tournament's opening match saw the "Al-Bawasil" (The Valiant) team triumph over the "Nujoom al-Qahim" (Stars of Al-Qahim) team with a close score of five goals to four.

The tournament is scheduled to last three weeks, promising an engaging series of matches for the participating teams and their supporters.
