Taiz:The General Authority for the Welfare of Martyrs' Families has strongly condemned the alleged desecration of a Yemeni soldier's body by Saudi forces in Taiz province.
According to Yemen News Agency, the authority released a statement accusing the perpetrators of stripping the martyr's body, filming the act, and distributing the footage. The authority described this as a severe violation of human dignity, as well as religious and moral values.
The statement holds Saudi forces and their allies fully responsible for the incident and emphasizes that such violations against prisoners and the remains of martyrs will not be exempt from prosecution. The authority insists that those accountable will face justice.
The statement also urges local and international human rights organizations to denounce the act, identify those responsible, and advocate for their prosecution.
