Sanaa: The free women of the Capital Secretariat commemorated International Quds Day with a mass march in the square south of the Military College in Al-Rawda neighborhood, organized by the General Mobilization - Women's Authority, affirming the steadfast faith-based position of the Yemeni people in supporting the Palestinian cause and disavowing the enemies of God.
According to Yemen News Agency, participants in the march raised the Yemeni and Palestinian flags, along with slogans and banners expressing full solidarity with the Palestinian people and denouncing the crimes of the Israeli enemy against the people of Palestine. They affirmed that Jerusalem will remain present in the conscience of the nation until victory and liberation are achieved.
In the march, cultural activist Amat Al-Khaleq Al-Houthi praised the honorable turnout of the free women of the Secretariat to commemorate International Quds Day, considering this occasion a living embodiment of the faith identity and the steadfast positions of the Yemeni people in supporting and backing the Palestinian people in the face of the Israeli enemy entity, which continues to commit crimes, usurp Palestinian land, and confiscate the rights of its people.
She pointed out that the battle with the Israeli enemy and its allies is a fateful battle, affirming that movement in various fields and building military and economic strength constitute an essential part of the nation's battle against the forces of arrogance.
She criticized the silence of some Arab regimes regarding what the Palestinian people are subjected to, describing it as a major crime and an unforgivable betrayal of the Palestinian cause.
A statement issued by the march, recited by the General Coordinator of the Women's Authority, Office of the Secretariat, Ibtisam Al-Mahwturi, declared readiness and preparedness to implement the directives of the wise leadership for any options it adopts to fight the enemies of God and humanity.
It affirmed that commemorating this day represents a renewal of the covenant and allegiance to God, His Messenger, and the nation's primary cause in committing to support the Palestinian people.
The statement pointed out that the Palestinian people have faced comprehensive Zionist-American criminal genocide in Gaza and all Palestinian territories for over two years, affirming that the Palestinian cause remains the central cause of the nation, and that protecting Islamic sanctities and taking the initiative to liberate them is a responsibility incumbent upon all Muslims.
It condemned the Zionist attacks on the Islamic Republic of Iran and the targeting of its leaders, considering it a flagrant violation of all international norms and charters.
The statement blessed the heroic operations of the fighters of the Islamic Republic that disturb the Zionists and Americans in occupied Palestine and their military bases in the region, affirming that the resistance forces today represent the first line of defense for the dignity and honor of the nation.
The march featured a poetic segment and an operetta performed by young girls expressing the spirit of the occasion and solidarity with the Palestinian people.
