Sa'ada: Forty-one mass popular marches took place today across Sa'ada governorate's center and districts under the slogan 'In loyalty to the martyrs - we will not retreat in supporting Gaza whatever the sacrifices.'
According to Yemen News Agency, residents of the governorate and its districts gathered in various squares including the Prophet's Birthday squares in the governorate center, at the Martyr Leader square in Khawlan 'Amir, among many others. These gatherings were a tribute to martyrs and a demonstration of solidarity with the Palestinian people.
Participants in the marches affirmed their unwavering loyalty to the martyrs and emphasized the need for steadfast support of the Palestinian cause. They highlighted that the Israeli state poses a threat not only to the Palestinians but to global peace, and called for concrete actions against its violations and crimes.
During the gathering at the Prophet's Birthday square, Sa'ada Governor Muhammad Jabir 'Awad commended the significant turnout and criticized the Israeli attempts to normalize its behavior, stating that such efforts will not succeed in forcing regimes into normalization.
A statement from the Sa'ada marches emphasized that the sacrifices made by the Yemeni people are in obedience to God and in defense of their religion and nation. It condemned the Zionist crimes and reiterated Yemeni determination to support Palestine, rejecting any recognition or normalization with Israel.
The statement also expressed solidarity with the resistance leaders of Hamas and condemned the violation of Qatari sovereignty. It called for unity within the Islamic Ummah against external divisions and identified the common enemies as specified in the Qur'an.
The marches concluded with a renewed commitment to the Palestinian cause, declaring Yemen's readiness to make sacrifices for the sake of God, and urging the people of Gaza to remain resilient in the face of ongoing challenges.
