Amran:Mass rallies took place across Amran Governorate following Friday prayers to commemorate the 12th anniversary of the September 21 Revolution. The gatherings aimed to reaffirm the participants' determination and readiness to confront various developments.
According to Yemen News Agency, participants displayed banners and chanted slogans expressing their steadfastness and support for the fronts, emphasizing the importance of continued mobilization and efforts to strengthen popular readiness.
The rallies highlighted that the September 21 Revolution symbolizes the will of the Yemeni people and marks a pivotal shift towards reclaiming national decision-making and sovereignty while rejecting foreign influence and dependency.
Participants reiterated their commitment to freedom, independence, and sovereignty, and their readiness to address threats against Yemen. They also expressed their support for the Palestinian cause, particularly the people in Gaza, and the defense of Islamic holy sites.
A statement from the rallies underscored ongoing efforts toward liberation and independence, support for the armed forces, and the provision of funds, equipment, and personnel to the fronts until the blockade is lifted and national rights and resources are restored.
The statement also urged Turkey and Pakistan to refrain from participating in aggression against Yemen and called for the formation of an Islamic alliance to support the Palestinian people in Gaza and defend Islamic holy sites. It advocated for increased popular mobilization, encouraged young people to join military training courses, and emphasized the importance of maintaining internal security, national cohesion, and high readiness to face various challenges.
