Rayma: Mass rallies were held across Raymah province in support of the Yemeni armed forces and in rejection of Saudi accusations that Yemen targeted Makkah. Participants reaffirmed their support for Gaza and Islamic holy sites, while expressing readiness to support the armed forces and the blockade-for-blockade and escalation-for-escalation equation.
According to Yemen News Agency, a statement issued by the rallies rejected the allegations as false and described them as an attempt to tarnish Yemen's image and incite public opinion in the Muslim world. The statement described the allegation as a serious crime and grave fabrication against the Yemeni people, saying it was an affront to the honor and sanctity of their historic affiliation with Islam from the dawn of the Prophet's message to the present day, as well as a deliberate attempt to tarnish the Yemeni people and contradict the Prophet Muhammad's reported saying about Yemenis: 'Faith is Yemeni and wisdom is Yemeni.'
It stressed that the Yemeni people retained their natural right to respond to this alleged transgression through all legitimate forms and means of response, and that the leadership and army had been authorized to respond in an appropriate manner and at the appropriate time.
