Marib: Marib Governorate witnessed on Friday 17 large rallies and dozens of protest gatherings in solidarity with the Iranian and Lebanese peoples, and to commemorate the anniversary of the Great Battle of Badr under the slogan: 'With Iran and Lebanon, We Revive the Day of Furqan.' A massive rally was held in Al-Jubah Square by residents of the southern district, attended by Marib Governor Ali Taiman and the official in charge of general mobilization, Badr Al-Majash. Participants raised slogans condemning the American-Israeli aggression and chanted in support of Iran and Lebanon.
According to Yemen News Agency, in Sirwah District, rallies took place in the squares of Souq Sirwah, Habab, and Al-Mahjazah, where participants congratulated the Islamic nation on the anniversary of the Battle of Badr, emphasizing that truth will inevitably prevail regardless of its capabilities in the face of tyranny and arrogance. Residents of Harib Al-Qaramish district also held marches in the squares of Shujaa, Al-Hazm, Bab Hurra, Hurra, and Imam Ali Square, stressing their full readiness and high level of preparedness for military mobilization at any moment should developments require participation in what they described as the decisive battle against global Zionism and its allies.
Residents of Majzar district affirmed their support for the Iranian people, its Islamic system, its army and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, as well as for Hezbollah and the Lebanese people, stating that they are fighting on behalf of the entire nation. In Badbadah district, participants in two rallies held in Al-Tadamun and Halwah squares called on Arab and Islamic regimes that have allowed enemies to operate within their territories to repent and expel American military bases from their countries.
Large rallies were also held in Qaniyah, Al-Amoud, Jabal Murad, Al-Abdiyah, Rahbah, and Al-Jinah in Harib, where participants declared full support for all options taken by the leader of the revolution in support of the Iranian and Lebanese peoples and in defense of religion and the homeland. A statement issued during the rallies affirmed that participating in the demonstrations is an Islamic, moral, and humanitarian duty aimed at safeguarding the dignity and salvation of the nation. It stressed carrying the banner of Islam in confronting what it described as the tyrants of the era - the Zionists and their American and Israeli allies - just as the early supporters carried it against the tyrants of their time during the historic Battle of Badr.
The statement reiterated solidarity with the Iranian people and their Islamic system, declared full readiness to confront any developments, and reaffirmed continued support for the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples as well as all oppressed people of the nation. It also renewed the pledge of allegiance to Allah, His Messenger, and the movement's leader, affirming steadfastness on the path of jihad in accordance with divine guidance and confidence in the promise of victory.
The statement further emphasized what it described as a firm moral and principled stance against global Zionism and its allies, particularly the United States and Israel, along with Western governments and their supporters. It noted that standing against them is seen as a religious obligation, announcing continued preparation in all fields day and night to confront and defeat them.
The statement also referred to remarks made yesterday by the movement's leader, Abdul-Malik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi, stating that all forces remain in a state of full readiness and that 'hands are on the trigger' regarding potential escalation and military action if developments require it. Finally, the statement renewed support for the Iranian people, their Islamic system, their army, and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, as well as Hezbollah, praising what it described as their major achievements and strikes against Israeli targets and U.S. bases in the region, in addition to the operations carried out by the Iraqi resistance.
It also condemned Israeli and U.S. strikes on civilian targets in some countries in the region, warning that such actions aim to push those countries into direct involvement in the conflict under the leadership of Israeli officials such as Benjamin Netanyahu and Itamar Ben-Gvir, and cautioned those states against being drawn into what it described as a humiliating and harmful conflict.
