Sanaa: Researcher Youssef Abdulkarim Yahya Rase has been awarded an Executive Master degree with distinction in Public Administration from the Public Administration Center at Sanaa University. His thesis, titled "The Effectiveness of the Presidency Office in Evaluating Development Policies and Programs in the State Administrative Apparatus," received notable recognition.
According to Yemen News Agency, the discussion and judgment session was chaired by Dr. Ali Al Awadi, an internal examiner from Sanaa University. The panel also included Dr. Hamid Al Makhlafi, an external examiner from Al Hudaydah University, and Dr. Abdulwahab Al Junaid, the principal supervisor from Sanaa University. The session focused on the scientific content, study methodology, and the researcher's findings concerning the evaluation process's impact on enhancing development policies and programs within the state administrative apparatus.
The study's primary objectives were to assess the effectiveness of the Presidency Office in evaluating development policies and programs, identify obstacles faced by the office, reveal statistically significant differences in the responses of the research sample, and propose a development plan to enhance the office's effectiveness in this area.
The discussion was attended by notable personalities, including Zaid Al Gharsi, Head of the Media Department at the Presidency Office, Osama Al Shami, Head of the Protocols Department at the Presidency Office, Dr. Hani Maghlas, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce at Sanaa University, and several academics and researchers.
