Sana'a: Celebratory evenings marking the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's birth continued across Maeen District in the Capital Secretariat. Residents from various neighborhoods, including Al-Safiya, Al-Bar, Jarb Al-Thawr, Wadi Al-Talh, Wadi Al-Aqab, Al-Madrasa Al-Haditha, Al-Talahum, Al-Souq, Al-Mahader, Al-Salam, Al-Saila, Tariq bin Ziyad, and Al-Ghufran, held cultural and speech events to commemorate the occasion.
According to Yemen News Agency, the events were attended by notable figures such as Shura Council member Khaled Al-Sayaghi, Yemen Scholars Association members Sheikh Saleh Al-Khawlani and Sheikh Ali Al-Mutri, Assistant Deputy Mayor of Sana'a Shami Sharaf Al-Din, along with local officials, security and executive leaders, scholars, and social figures.
Speakers at the events highlighted the religious and educational significance of commemorating the Prophet's birth. They emphasized adherence to his morals, values, patience, and righteous path. The widespread public participation was praised as an expression of Yemenis' love and reverence for Prophet Muhammad, as well as gratitude for the blessing and mercy he represents.
The speakers also called on residents to continue participating in Mawlid activities and to reflect the significance of the occasion throughout the district's neighborhoods.
