Sana'a: A cultural event and illuminated motorcycle parade were held in the capital Sana'a to mark the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's birth.
According to Yemen News Agency, First Deputy Mayor Khalid Al-Madani stated that the celebrations reflect the Yemeni people's love and attachment to the Prophet Muhammad. He described the occasion as an opportunity to strengthen steadfastness and raise awareness of the Prophet's life, values, and teachings.
Al-Madani emphasized the importance of community participation in preparations for the central Mawlid celebration at Al-Sabeen Square on 12 Rabi' Al-Awwal. During the event, motorcycle riders highlighted the religious and humanitarian values embodied by the Prophet, describing the occasion as an opportunity to promote solidarity, social cohesion, and adherence to Islamic values.
The event also featured chants and poetry performances, enhancing the cultural and spiritual atmosphere of the celebration.
