Sana’a: Today’s meeting at the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, headed by the Vice President of the Federation, Mohammed Salah, reviewed the economic stimulus program prepared by the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Investment.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting involved directors of the chambers of commerce, heads of specialized committees, and their deputies, who engaged in discussions concerning the private sector’s observations on the program. The program encompasses 14 axes, each aimed at fostering economic growth.
The meeting, attended by the Director of the Federation, Mohammed Qafla, included a presentation by the Federation’s legal advisor, Dr. Abdul Basit Mohammed. He elaborated on the axes of the economic stimulus program and its implications for the private sector across various fields. Key strategic projects in industry, energy, oil, minerals, industrial cities, and business environment reform were highlighted during the session.
Additionally, the Federation’s economic advisor, Dr. Mansour Al-Bashiri, provided a summary of previously implemented procedures by the Federation. He also outlined necessary steps to enhance the role of the private sector in executing the projects outlined in the economic stimulus program.
The Vice President of the Federation encouraged participants to submit their proposals for implementing the program to the Federation. These proposals would then be consolidated and presented to the Ministry for consideration.
