Al bayda: A meeting held on Monday in Al-Bayda City, chaired by Governor Abdullah Idris, discussed arrangements for mobilizing for the central celebration marking the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammed. The meeting, attended by Shura Council member Abdullah Al-Mudhafari, Al-Bayda City Director Ahmed Al-Rassas, local and executive officials, and social figures, stressed the importance of commemorating the Prophet's birth anniversary, given its significance to Yemenis and Muslims in general.

According to Yemen News Agency, Governor Idris described the occasion as a unifying religious event for Muslims worldwide, noting that the descendants of the Ansar are at the forefront globally in commemorating it. He urged the people of Al-Bayda City to actively participate in preparations and gather in the city's designated squares tomorrow to mark the occasion.

Governor Idris said that commemorating the anniversary sends a message to the enemies of Islam affirming the strong bond between Yemenis and the Messenger of Mercy, while serving as a practical response to repeated offenses against Islamic sanctities, foremost among them the Holy Quran.

Speakers at the meeting highlighted the Ansar's role in supporting the Prophet in Medina, noting that the Yemeni people today stand in solidarity with the oppressed in Palestine and Lebanon, reflecting the enduring values and principles upheld by the Ansar throughout history. They emphasized the importance of mobilizing for the occasion and strengthening the bond with the Prophet and his struggle against disbelievers and hypocrites, considering jihad in the cause of Allah the only path to protecting the Muslim nation, safeguarding its faith, and preserving its dignity among nations.
