Al-Hodeida: A meeting in Al-Hodeida province, chaired by First Deputy Governor Ahmed Al-Bishri, discussed preparations to commemorate International Al-Quds Day. The gathering involved key provincial figures, including Undersecretaries for Services Affairs, Mohammed Hilisi, and City Square, Ali Kabari, as well as directors and heads from various sectors such as the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund, Information, Youth, Cultural, Guidance, and Education.
According to Yemen News Agency, the discussions focused on mobilizing efforts to effectively commemorate International Al-Quds Day. The first deputy governor highlighted the importance of this event as a symbol of solidarity with the Palestinian cause. He urged all involved to ensure the marches and related activities are successful, emphasizing their significance in delivering messages of support for Palestinians.
In addition, the Undersecretary of Services Affairs stressed the need for enhanced coordination among relevant authorities to guarantee the provision of essential services during Eid. He called for diligent efforts to uphold the public appearance of the city.
Further, the Undersecretary of Hodeida City Square underscored that ensuring the stability of basic services, especially electricity and water, is a primary concern. He noted that intensive efforts are underway to maintain these services during the Eid period.
