Sanaa: The Local Council and the General Mobilization Division of Al-Safiya District in the Capital Secretariat organized an extensive meeting aimed at coordinating follow-up, mobilization, and preparation efforts for the implementation of the Ramadan program and summer courses within the district.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the meeting, Capital Secretary Dr. Hamoud Abad emphasized the critical role of community interaction and awareness in preparing for the Ramadan program and summer courses. He encouraged registration for this year’s open and model summer schools, highlighting Ramadan as an educational opportunity to reinforce Qur’anic faith, purify souls, and promote adherence to religious principles.
Khalid Al-Madani, First Undersecretary of the Capital Secretariat, underscored the importance of engaging with the Ramadan program and leveraging the teachings of revolution leader Sayyid Abdulmalik Badreddin Al-Houthi to deepen the community’s connection to the Holy Qur’an and strengthen their faith identity. Al-Madani called for increased efforts to enroll children in summer courses, ensuring their protection from misleading influences and reinforcing their commitment to Qur’anic culture.
The meeting, attended by undersecretaries, local leaders, dignitaries, social figures, and Al-Safiya residents, also featured cultural activist Allama Hussam Al-Qatabari. He highlighted the spiritual significance of Ramadan and urged attendees to utilize its days and nights for acts of righteousness, charity, and spiritual closeness to God.
