Ibb: A meeting in Ibb province, chaired by Governor Abdulwahed Salah, approved the annual achievement report for projects implemented in the province during the year 1446 AH, funded by central and local sources, as well as through supporting funds and organizations.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was attended by Deputy Governor Mohammed Al-Shabibi, the head and members of the Technical Committee, and directors and officials of relevant offices and sectors. They reviewed the service projects reports for the years 1444 AH, 1445 AH, and 1446 AH, in accordance with the models provided by the Ministry of Administration, Local Development, and Rural Affairs and the Executive Office of the National Vision.
During the meeting, Governor Salah acknowledged the efforts in preparing the annual project reports in line with the directives of the Revolution Leader and the President of the Supreme Political Council, according to the approved models from the Ministry of Administration, Local Development, and Rural Affairs. He noted that Ibb province has experienced a shift in implementing service and developmental projects and community initiatives, guided by priority and local community needs.
Governor Salah stated that the completed projects encompassed developmental, service, mobilization efforts, security consolidation, summer activities, and support for families of martyrs, prisoners, wounded, and stationed forces, alongside resolving disputes and conflicts.
He stressed the importance of the achievement report in providing a comprehensive view of the plan implementation over the past years by verifying actual execution, supported by evidence and performance indicators.
Governor Salah praised the documentary evaluation presentation of completed projects across sectors, which helped alleviate citizens' suffering and ensured resource efficiency. He emphasized the need for follow-up and monitoring during project implementation.
He also highlighted the necessity of including a list of projects carried over to 1447 AH, with supported priorities, outcomes, areas of weakness, and proposed solutions to address challenges.
The committee responsible for preparing the report reviewed its contents, methodology, and tools used for gathering information and data. The report disclosed that locally funded projects in the province over the past three years totaled 250, costing over 14 billion, 855 million, and 472 thousand Yemeni riyals. Centrally and donor-funded projects amounted to 839, costing five billion, 980 million, and 161 thousand riyals, along with 28 million and 25 thousand dollars, in addition to community initiative projects supported by the Emergency Developmental Interventions Unit.
