Meeting in Khayran Al-Muharraq Commemorates Yawm al-Wilayah

Sanaa: An expanded meeting was held in the Khayran Al-Muharraq district in Hajjah to commemorate the anniversary of the Day of the Guardianship (Yawm al-Wilayah) of Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (peace be upon him).

According to Yemen News Agency, the deputy governors of the province, Abdulkarim Al-Khumusi and Ahmed Al-Mu'ayyad, highlighted the importance of Yawm al-Wilayah in the hearts of the Yemeni people and the deep connection they feel with Imam Ali (peace be upon him). They emphasized the necessity of adhering to divine guidance and following the example set by Imam Ali (peace be upon him). The consequences facing the nation and the perceived humiliation of the Islamic community due to their allegiance to other powers were reviewed.

Al-Khumusi and Al-Mu'ayyad urged for significant participation in the central events commemorating Yawm al-Wilayah. Meanwhile, speeches at an evening event organized by the local authority and General Mobilization in the Kuhlan Al-Sharaf district underlined that commemorating Yawm al-Wilayah is akin to commemorating the Holy Quran. It reinforces adherence to the Great Messenger, the Muhammadan path, and Imam Ali (peace be upon him), while also solidifying a faith-based identity and Quranic culture.

The speeches elaborated on the virtues of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and the benefits of adhering to divine guidance and allegiance to Almighty God, the Great Messenger (peace be upon him and his family), and Imam Ali (peace be upon him). These include achieving success, prosperity, salvation, and dignity. The merits of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), such as his asceticism, courage, sacrifices, and support for the Noble Messenger and the Islamic religion, along with his relationship with the Yemenis who embraced Islam under his influence, were also discussed.
