Sana'a: A meeting in Sana'a Governorate, chaired by the Secretary-General of the Governorate's Local Council, Abdul Qadir Al-Jilani, discussed today the mechanism for strengthening awareness-raising measures and procedures to contain acute watery diarrhea and rapid interventions to limit its spread.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting addressed aspects of coordination between relevant offices to develop an emergency response plan to address cases of watery diarrhea. The discussions included activating awareness-raising efforts, obliging all health facilities to receive cases, and establishing a joint operations room between the governorate and the directorates to receive all reports of cases.
