Taiz: A meeting chaired by Taiz Province Undersecretary for Development Affairs Abdulwase Al-Shamsi discussed the mechanisms of agricultural community work for the projects of the administrative body of the multi-purpose Agricultural Cooperative Society of Al-Salow.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting included key figures such as the director general of Al-Salow district, Adel Shaalan, the agricultural sector official in the province, Engineer Abdullah Al-Jundi, the executive director of the Agricultural Cooperative Union branch, Amer Al-Ahdal, the head of the Al-Salu Association, Fuad Al-Hadabi, and the mobilization official in the directorate, Mohammed Saeed. The discussion focused on identifying the needs of the association, the challenges it faces, and developing strategies to address these issues to enhance agricultural work in the directorate.
The meeting emphasized the importance of collaboration among association members in line with the statutes and bylaws to foster genuine community partnership aimed at achieving self-sufficiency. It also aimed to stimulate and activate community initiatives.
Additionally, Al-Shamsi, Al-Jundi, Al-Ahdal, Shaalan, and Al-Hadabi were updated on the maize planting during the emergency winter planting in Al-Mashjab in the directorate. This initiative is supported through white loans for seeds provided by the agricultural sector and the cooperative union in the province.
