Sanaa: The Education Sector in the Capital Secretariat convened today for a preparatory meeting of the executive committees tasked with organizing academic and cultural methodological competitions for the children of martyrs. These competitions are set at the Secretariat level for the first semester of the academic year 1448 AH.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was attended by key figures including the head of the Education Sector in the Secretariat, Abdulqader Al-Mahdi, and Directors of Educational Care at the General Authority for the Care of Martyrs' Families, Mohsen Al-Hadawi. Other notable attendees included Mohammed Al-Afif from the branch of the Authority in the Secretariat and Mohammed Al-Ward from the Educational Administration at the branch. The meeting's agenda covered the objectives of the competitions, the educational care programs for martyrs' children, regulatory frameworks, implementation stages, and evaluation mechanisms.
Al-Mahdi highlighted the high level of educational care provided to the children of martyrs, which has significantly contributed to their academic excellence. He emphasized their remarkable academic achievements and reiterated the ongoing commitment to supporting these children in various educational and cultural fields.
Al-Hadawi underscored the importance of honoring the sacrifices of martyrs and the dedication to nurturing their children. He praised the educational staff for their role in fostering academic progress and excellence among these students.
The directors of the Guidance Departments in the Education Sector, including Redman Al-Jomari for guidance, Abdullah Samina for activities, and Amira Al-Asiri for girls' education, discussed the technical and organizational aspects of the competitions. They reviewed the implementation mechanism, the student database, and the competition questions.
The meeting concluded with the approval of a timeline for the competitions. The first phase will commence tomorrow in schools with preparatory activities for the children of martyrs, while the second phase is scheduled to begin at the educational zone level next Sunday. The third phase will take place at the Capital Secretariat level for those who qualify from the districts.
