Hodeida: The local authority in Hodeida province, in cooperation with the province’s security department, held an expanded meeting with Hodeida city square headmen to discuss plans and preparations for the month of Ramadan.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the meeting, Governor Abdullah Atifi emphasized the importance of the role of the neighborhood elders in promoting social stability and concerted efforts to ensure a suitable environment that meets the spiritual atmosphere of Ramadan. He highlighted the need for the implementation of joint responsibilities to the fullest extent towards citizens and society.
First Deputy Governor Ahmed Al-Bishri also spoke during the meeting, discussing the importance of cooperation between local authorities and neighborhood elders. He stressed the need to enhance joint responsibility towards the community, maintain security, public tranquility, and control crime before it occurs.
