Hajjah: The districts of Washhah and Najrah in Hajjah governorate held a meeting and a number of cultural evenings on Thursday to commemorate the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his family.
According to Yemen News Agency, in Najrah district, Hajjah province undersecretary Ahmed Al-Akhfash participated in an evening organized by students of religious schools and residents of Al-Dhahr neighborhood in Aman City. Meanwhile, District Director Abdulquddous Al-Khashab participated in a meeting and a number of evenings in Washhah District, organized by the local authority and residents of Dhaa'an and Al-Hawarith areas.
Speakers at the meetings and evenings emphasized the Yemeni people's deep connection with the Seal of the Prophets, Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, and their adherence to his approach.
The speakers also stressed rejecting attempts by enemies to separate the nation from the Prophet, which they said had failed in the face of the awareness and determination of the people of wisdom and faith.
They described commemorating the Prophet's birthday as an expression of appreciation for the divine blessing, pride in the Seal of the Prophets and his message, and an expression of love and spiritual and religious attachment to the Prophet.
The speakers also highlighted the significance and meaning of commemorating the Prophet's birth, noting that he was sent by God to perfect noble character and recalling the role of the Yemeni people in supporting the Prophet from the dawn of Islam and spreading the Islamic message.
They called for broad participation in the central events on 12 Rabi' al-Awwal as an expression of reverence, veneration and honor for the Seal of the Prophets.
