Sana'a: The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning forecast cold to very cold weather in the mountainous highlands and parts of the deserts and internal plateaus during the next 24 hours.
According to Yemen News Agency, the weather bulletin issued by the center indicates that the weather is expected to be cold to very cold during the night hours and early morning in the governorates of Saada, Amran, Sana'a, Dhamar, Al-Bayda, northern Ibb, and Al-Jawf, with frost formation anticipated over parts of these regions.
The weather may also be cold in the highlands of the governorates of Hajjah, Al-Mahwit, Raymah, Taiz, Al-Dhalea, Lahj, Abyan, and over parts of the deserts and plateaus of Hadramout and Shabwah.
The center has issued warnings to citizens in the mountainous highlands or those traveling to these areas about the cold's effects, particularly on the elderly, children, the sick, and workers during the night and early morning hours.
Farmers have been advised to take necessary precautions to protect their agricultural crops from potential frost damage.
