Sana'a: The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning has forecast moderate rainfall over mountainous highlands and hot to very hot weather across coastal plains and desert areas during the next 24 hours.
According to Yemen News Agency, the center's weather bulletin indicates that conditions are expected to be clear to partly cloudy, with a chance of moderate rain-sometimes accompanied by thunderstorms-over parts of Sa'ada, Amran, Hajjah, Sana'a, and Al Mahwit. Light fog or mist may also form during the evening and early morning over sections of the highlands.
In coastal regions, the weather is expected to be clear to partly cloudy, generally hot and humid, and hot to very hot over the Tihama plain, with maximum temperatures ranging between 34-40°C. Winds may become active, reaching speeds of up to 28 knots.
In desert areas, the weather will be mostly clear and generally hot to very hot, with maximum temperatures ranging between 35-40°C. Winds may occasionally intensify, causing dust and sand.
The center warned citizens of the hot and very hot conditions in deserts and coastal plains and advised against being in or crossing flood channels during and after rainfall in areas expected to receive precipitation.
