Meteorology Forecasts Scattered Rain Across Multiple Provinces

Sana'a: The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning has forecast scattered rain across several provinces over the next 24 hours.

According to Yemen News Agency, the center stated in its weather bulletin that rain of varying intensity, some heavy, accompanied by hail, is likely to fall on parts of the governorates of Bayda, Dale'a, Taiz, Ibb, Dhamar, Raymah, Sana'a, Hajjah, Mahwit, Amran, Saada, the Tihama Plain, and the western coasts.

Scattered rains, sometimes accompanied by thunder, are expected in parts of the highlands of Lahj, Abyan, Shabwah, Hadhramaut, southern Marib, western Jawf, and parts of the southern and eastern coasts and the adjacent inland highlands. The amount of rainfall measured at meteorological stations in Ba'dan-Ibb over the past 24 hours was 38.4 mm, Hajjah 20 mm, Mahwit 17 mm, Al Hawban-Taiz 7 mm, and Dhamar 2 mm.

The center warned citizens of thunderstorms, advising against crossing floodwaters and ground bridges or being in them during and after rainfall. It also cautioned about rock and mudslides and poor visibility due to rainfall and the formation of low clouds and fog.
