Sanaa: The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning forecasts clear and partly cloudy weather in various governorates, with active winds expected along the coasts and in desert regions over the next 24 hours.
According to Yemen News Agency, the center’s weather bulletin indicates that highland areas will experience clear and relatively cold conditions at night and in the early morning, transitioning to clear to partly cloudy skies with low cumulus cloud formations during the day.
The forecast also highlights partly cloudy conditions on the eastern and southern coasts, the northern part of the western coast, and the Socotra Archipelago. These areas may see the formation of low rain clouds, while dust particles are anticipated in parts of the western coasts. Active winds are expected west of the Gulf of Aden, near the entrance to Bab al-Mandab, and along the southern section of the western coast.
In desert regions, the weather is expected to remain clear with active surface winds, likely stirring up dust and sand. The center has issued warnings for fishermen and seafarers south of the west coast, near the entrance to Bab al-Mandab, and west of the Gulf of Aden regarding rough seas and high waves. Additionally, it cautions residents in highland areas about temperature fluctuations and cold weather, as well as advising those in desert areas and along the west coast to be mindful of relatively dusty conditions and the presence of dust particles.
