Taiz: The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning has forecasted varying and scattered rainfall across several governorates, along with hot to extremely hot weather conditions in desert regions, inland plateaus, plains, and coastal areas.
According to Yemen News Agency, the center's weather bulletin highlighted that some areas within the governorates of Taiz, Ibb, Al-Dhalea, Dhamar, Raymah, Al-Mahwit, southern Hajjah, and Amran, as well as the highlands of Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa, and Al-Mahrah, could experience varying rainfall, sometimes accompanied by thunderstorms. Scattered rainfall is also expected over limited areas west of Saada, Sana'a, and Hadramout, southern Al-Bayda, and parts of the Tihama Plain.
The forecast indicates that the weather will be hot to extremely hot in the desert regions, inland plateaus, plains, and coastal areas. The center has issued alerts for citizens in areas predicted to receive rainfall, warning against the flow of torrents in ravines and valleys and advising caution against being present in or crossing their paths during and after rainfall. Additionally, there are warnings regarding the dangers of thunderstorms.
The center also cautioned about the hot and extremely hot weather in the mentioned regions, advising the public to avoid direct sunlight during noon and afternoon hours and to maintain hydration by drinking plenty of fluids.
