Sana'a: The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning has forecast varying intensities of scattered thunderstorms and rainfall across several governorates over the next 24 hours.
According to Yemen News Agency, the weather bulletin from the center indicates that the governorates of Saada, Amran, Sana'a, Al Mahwit, Hajjah, Raymah, Dhamar, Ibb, Taiz, and the Tihama Plain are likely to experience thunderstorms and rainfall of varying intensity. Additionally, scattered rainfall with occasional thunder is expected over Al Dhale'e, western parts of Marib and Al Jawf, as well as the highlands of Lahj and Abyan, and the western coasts.
The center has issued warnings to citizens regarding the potential flow of floods in valleys and ravines, advising against being present in or crossing these areas during and after the rainfall. They also cautioned against thunderstorms and recommended avoiding proximity to electric poles and tall trees. Furthermore, warnings have been issued about possible rockfalls, mudslides, and reduced horizontal visibility on roads and mountainous slopes due to rainfall and fog formation.
