Sana'a: The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning has predicted varying amounts of rain, accompanied by thunderstorms, over parts of several governorates during the next 24 hours.
According to Yemen News Agency, the weather bulletin issued by the Center indicates that moderate to heavy rain, accompanied by thunderstorms, is likely over parts of the governorates of Saada, Hajjah, Mahweet, Amran, Sana'a, Dhamar, Raymah, Ibb, Bayda, Dhale, and Taiz. Additional regions expected to be affected include parts of the western coast, the Tihama Plain, and the highlands of Lahj, Abyan, Shabwah, and Hadramaut.
Scattered, light to moderate rain, with occasional thunderstorms, is also expected over parts of the governorates of Jawf, Marib, and Mahra, as well as the southern and eastern coasts and the adjacent inland areas.
The Center has warned citizens against staying in wadi beds and flood channels. It also advised caution due to thunderstorms, soil erosion, landslides, and reduced visibility on roads and in mountainous areas, as a result of heavy cloud cover, rain, and the possibility of fog or mist.
