Miftah Reviews Modernization and Development Program of Road Corporation Machinery

Sana'a: Acting Prime Minister Mohammed Miftah, during his visit to the Public Corporation for Roads and Bridges, along with Deputy Minister of Transport and Public Works Yahya al-Siyani, reviewed the progress of the corporation's activities and the modernization and development programs of its machinery. The Acting Prime Minister was briefed on the new batch of machinery and equipment that the corporation purchased in accordance with the development program, resource growth, and asset acquisition for the period 2020-2025, at a cost of nearly six billion riyals.

According to Yemen News Agency, Acting Prime Minister Miftah praised the efforts of the ministry and corporation leadership in advancing the corporation and its activities across various governorates. He highlighted the corporation's role in rapid and emergency works, particularly in addressing damages caused by floods. Miftah pointed out the efficiency of the corporation and its swift response, emphasizing the importance of modern machinery and equipment in enhancing the corporation's performance and achievements.

Miftah urged the ministry and corporation leadership to maintain efforts in sustaining the road and bridge network, with a particular focus on the Sana'a - Hodeida road. Chairman of the Public Corporation for Roads and Bridges, Engineer Abdulrahman al-Hadharmi, expressed gratitude to the Acting Prime Minister and the Ministry for their support, noting the impact on the corporation's performance.

Al-Hadharmi explained that the newly acquired equipment and machinery represent a significant advancement, especially given the challenging conditions in the country.
