Million-Man March in Sana’a Demonstrates Yemen’s Solidarity with Palestine, Lebanon, and Iran

Sana'a: The capital city of Sana'a was the scene of a massive demonstration on Friday as a million-man march took place under the slogan "Steadfast with Palestine, Lebanon, and Iran. and ready for all options." The event, commemorating the National Day of Resilience, saw participants raising the flags of Yemen, Palestine, Lebanon, and Iran to reaffirm Yemen's unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and opposition to American and Zionist policies affecting the Arab and Islamic world.

According to Yemen News Agency, the demonstrators emphasized their resilience and readiness to participate in what they described as the sacred battle for the nation. They declared their continued support for Palestine and solidarity with Lebanon and Iran against American-Zionist aggression. The attendees also expressed their readiness to follow the directives of Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, the Leader of the Revolution, in any future actions deemed necessary.

The marchers reiterated their determination to defend Yemen against foreign aggression and protect its independence. They issued a warning to countries involved in actions against Yemen, urging them to cease their hostile approaches. The protestors chanted a series of slogans emphasizing steadfastness, resistance, and unity against external pressures and interventions.

A statement released during the march marked the eleventh anniversary of what is referred to as the American-Saudi aggression against Yemen, which began on March 26, 2015. The statement recounted the initial attacks that targeted civilians and highlighted the ongoing impact of the conflict, including killings, sieges, and destruction. It underscored the Yemeni people's choice to resist and defend their freedom and independence with faith and resilience.

The statement also highlighted the significance of the march as a testament to Yemen's steadfast support for Palestine and opposition to the so-called "Greater Israel" project, which is perceived as a threat to the region. Participants expressed gratitude to Allah for the resilience and victories achieved despite the adversities faced.

Furthermore, the statement called on the Saudi regime to end its aggressive policies and detach itself from American and Israeli agendas. It reaffirmed Yemen's commitment to the Palestinian cause and resistance against Zionist expansionism. The marchers declared themselves as part of a broader front of resistance, opposing American and Israeli efforts and supporting the struggle for justice and liberation in Palestine.

Emphasizing solidarity with Iran and Lebanon, the statement condemned any aggression against them as an attack on the entire nation. It urged preparation and mobilization within Yemen to counter future challenges, in line with Qur'anic teachings. The statement concluded with a call for all Muslims to adhere to Islamic principles as a means to foster unity and resistance against external threats.
