Sana'a: Minister of Culture and Tourism Dr. Ali Al-Yafei today honored 100 craftswomen who participated in several training courses organized by the Women's Center for the Development of Crafts and Handicrafts, with support from the Heritage and Cultural Development Fund.
According to Yemen News Agency, the honoring of the outstanding craftswomen came after their participation in two-month training courses, during which they gained expertise and skills in the fields of heritage embroidery, weaving, sewing women's clothing and curtains, men's belts, textiles, wall decorations, and other handicrafts. The initiative aimed to preserve and promote traditional crafts while empowering women by enhancing their skills and providing them with new opportunities in the crafts sector.
