Minister of Defense and Chief of Staff Congratulate President Al Mashat on Yemeni National Day

Sanaa: The Minister of Defense Major General Mohammed Nasser Al Atifi and the Chief of the General Staff Major General Yousef Al Madani sent a congratulatory telegram to His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, on the occasion of the 36th National Day of the Republic of Yemen.

According to Yemen News Agency, the telegram expressed pride and confidence, emphasizing the faith of the Yemeni people in Allah's victory and empowerment. It highlighted the historic significance of the Yemeni unity restored on May 22, which is seen as a major achievement against colonial fragmentation. The leaders wished President Al Mashat health and guidance, asserting the pride and dignity of the Yemeni armed forces.

The message further emphasized drawing inspiration from the strategic perspective of Sayyed Abdul Malik Badr Al Din Al Houthi, who identified conspiracies against Yemen. It detailed the preparation of a formidable military force across land, sea, and air branches, emphasizing the religious responsibility to confront these challenges.

The telegram also highlighted the battle for national unity as a religious duty, stressing that neglecting unity equates to violating Allah's limits. It criticized regimes aligning with foreign powers, reaffirming Yemen's commitment to supporting the oppressed and defending national sanctities.

On this occasion, the message renewed loyalty to the revolutionary leadership and affirmed the military's role in safeguarding Yemen's unity and sovereignty. It declared that any attempts to harm Yemen or exploit its resources would face decisive retaliation.

The letter concluded by honoring the martyrs and expressing wishes for victory and unity for Yemen and its armed forces.
