Al-mashna: The Minister of Education, Hassan Al-Sa'adi, emphasized that the celebration of Mawlid al-Nabawi serves as a crucial spiritual and educational opportunity to cultivate awareness and instill the Prophet's values, morals, and principles in the younger generation. During a commemorative event at Khadija School for Girls, he lauded the school's initiatives and reiterated that observing this occasion is a demonstration of loyalty to the Prophet, aimed at deepening the youth's understanding of his teachings.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Sa'adi highlighted the inspiration Yemenis derive from the steadfastness of the Ansar, reflecting their enduring commitment to defending their homeland, Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the Holy Quran. He urged educators, parents, and students to actively participate in the central event scheduled for the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal, underlining the pivotal role educational institutions play in fostering awareness and reinforcing faith-based and national identity.
A Mobilization official noted that the Mawlid celebration fortifies one's faith-based identity, shielding generations from harmful ideologies. An educational sector official further commented that school activities during this period create a conducive environment for nurturing religious and moral consciousness.
In addition to the event, Minister Al-Sa'adi visited several schools in Al-Dhahar District, including Al-Farouq Boys' School, 26 September Boys' School, Al-Amal Special Needs School, and Al-Ruwwad School. He commended the dedication of educational staff despite challenging circumstances and highlighted the need to enhance educational performance and support for students with special needs.
