Minister of Education Reviews Textbook Printing Amid Resource Constraints.

Sana’a: The Minister of Education and Scientific Research, Hassan Al-Saadi, inspected today the progress of work in the General Organization for Textbook Presses. Minister Al-Saadi was briefed on the process of distributing the books of the second part of the academic year 1446 AH in the central stores in Soufan and listened to the Executive Director General of the General Organization for Textbook Presses, Hussein Amer Jabal, to explain the efforts made to ensure the continuation of the work of textbook printing presses in light of the scarcity of available capabilities.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Minister of Education and Scientific Research was further informed about the progress of work across various departments and sections of the institution. He received an explanation from the executive director regarding the ongoing efforts to modernize and develop the printing and administrative operations within the organization.

The Minister of Education commended the dedication and hard work involved i
n maintaining the textbook printing process, despite the limited resources caused by the ongoing conflict and blockade impacting Yemen. He emphasized the critical need for collective efforts and a shared sense of responsibility to fulfill the printing plan for the upcoming academic year. This would ensure the timely distribution of textbooks to education offices, aiming to mitigate the shortage of educational materials.
