Sanaa: Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Samir Bajala, reaffirmed the ministry's commitment to assisting those affected by the crimes of American aggression, which continue to target civilians and residential areas-the latest being the attack on the Furwah neighborhood and market in Shu'ub District, Capital Municipality. In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), Minister Bajala emphasized the ongoing efforts to coordinate with humanitarian organizations in response to the devastating impacts of these attacks.
According to Yemen News Agency, Minister Bajala highlighted the importance of enhancing coordination and cooperation with humanitarian organizations to address the disasters caused by American airstrikes. These strikes have led to civilian casualties and significant damage to homes, facilities, and public infrastructure. The minister stated that the Yemeni Red Crescent Society has been urged to intensify its efforts in providing essential aid to affected families, focusing on the health, psychological, and economic impacts of the assaults.
Minister Bajala expressed hope that the Yemeni Red Crescent would seek increased support from the International Committee of the Red Cross to aid governorates affected by U.S. aggression. He affirmed that the ministry and its branches stand ready to support humanitarian organizations in fulfilling their disaster response roles.
The minister condemned the American and Israeli crimes against the Yemeni and Palestinian peoples, criticizing the international community's silence on these violations. He held the United States accountable for the systematic crimes resulting in civilian deaths and extensive material damage.
Additionally, Minister Bajala met with First Undersecretary of the Capital Municipality, Khaled Al-Madani, to discuss coordination efforts for delivering services and aid to those impacted by the aggression.
