Sana’a: The Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Samir Bajaala, engaged in discussions with the Executive Director of the Qatar Red Crescent, Eng. Ahmed Al-Sharaji, to explore potential areas of cooperation between the Ministry and the Qatar Red Crescent in Yemen.
According to Yemen News Agency, the talks emphasized the humanitarian and relief contributions made by the Red Crescent. Minister Bajaala highlighted the importance of supporting orphans and individuals with disabilities, as well as promoting economic empowerment and improving livelihoods. He also appealed for assistance in the rehabilitation and opening of Al Ihsan Hospital, which is intended to serve people with disabilities and those in poverty.
Eng. Ahmed Al-Sharaji reaffirmed the Qatar Red Crescent’s commitment to sustaining humanitarian and development initiatives. He noted that there is an ongoing study to evaluate the potential support for Al Ihsan Hospital, recognizing it as a project that could benefit various social groups.
