Sana’a: The Minister of Transport and Public Works, Mohammed Ayyash Qahim, together with Eng. Abdulrahman Al-Hadrami, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Organization for Roads and Bridges, inspected the ongoing work on the first phase of the Palestine Street restoration and maintenance project in Sana’a City. They received detailed briefings from project managers Eng. Sadiq Al-Jarbani and maintenance Eng. Abdul Qader Badi regarding the asphalt restoration work currently underway.
According to Yemen News Agency, the project is being executed by the General Organization for Roads at a cost of 127 million riyals, with funding provided by the Capital Municipality. The first phase of the project involves the maintenance and repair of 4.3 kilometers of asphalt, stretching from the intersection of Airport Road to the intersection of Marib Street in Bani al-Harith.
Minister Qahim highlighted the significance of these projects in easing traffic flow, reducing congestion, and improving the overall appe
arance of Sana’a’s streets. He commended the Capital Municipality and the General Organization for Roads for their efforts in advancing the project and emphasized the necessity of completing it within the designated timeframe.
