Sanaa:The Ministry of Economy, Industry, and Investment has urged all large and medium-sized milling companies and facilities to adhere to the latest increase in the flour extraction rate as part of a government decision. This second phase of the decision, effective from October 1st, raises the extraction rate from 80 percent to 86 percent.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Ministry has stated that this implementation is a strategic move to bolster food security, optimize the use of wheat resources, and enhance the nutritional quality of flour. These measures aim to serve the public interest and ensure consumer protection.
