Amran: The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology condemned the US Air Force targeting of communications network facilities in Amran and Saada governorates, which resulted in the destruction of broadcast stations and communication towers and the interruption of communications and internet services for tens of thousands of citizens.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Ministry explained that this attack comes within the context of the US-Saudi aggression that has been ongoing since 2015. It accused the United States of seeking to divide the telecommunications sector by establishing illegal entities in the occupied territories and using companies like Star Link for intelligence purposes.
The Ministry further indicated that these attacks aim to destroy the national telecommunications sector amid international silence. It holds Washington fully responsible for these crimes and their consequences.
