Sana'a: The Ministry of Economy, Industry, and Investment, alongside its affiliated bodies and institutions, in collaboration with the Local Council in Shu'ub District of the Capital Secretariat, organized an iftar banquet and Ramadan evening for the war wounded and disabled in the district. The event aimed to honor the sacrifices made by these individuals in the defense of their homeland.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the evening, Acting Minister of Economy, Sam Al-Bishiri, commended the significant sacrifices of the wounded and disabled, acknowledging their heroic efforts in defense of their religion, homeland, honor, and dignity. Al-Bishiri emphasized that the banquet is part of a broader initiative of charity and benevolence projects carried out by the ministry and its affiliated bodies in the district. He highlighted the importance of recognizing the contributions of the wounded and disabled as a moral and religious duty.
Al-Bishiri further stated that such honoring events are a small token of appreciation and emphasized the Yemeni people's commitment to supporting their religion and defending the Islamic nation under the guidance of Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi. He described the events as a reciprocal act of loyalty for their unwavering dedication.
The Head of the Social Affairs Committee at the Local Council of the Secretariat, Hammoud Al-Naqeeb, expressed gratitude towards the Ministry's leadership and the Local Council in Shu'ub District for organizing the banquet and Ramadan evening. He acknowledged the resilience and steadfastness of the wounded and disabled in facing aggression, which led to significant victories.
Additionally, the Secretary of the Local Council of Shu'ub District, Mohammed Al-Hadrami, and the Mobilization Official in the district, Abdullah Al-Kawl, affirmed the importance of the sacrifices made by the wounded, describing them as medals that honor the nation.
The event was attended by key figures, including the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Cement Corporation, Mahdi Al-Hawri, the official of Neighborhood Affairs in the district, Majid Al-Sharif, and the official of the Wounded in the district, Kamal Al-Washah.
