Bani Hashish:The Ministry of Education and Scientific Research has condemned a Saudi airstrike on the Beit Al-Laheeda area in the Sawaan region of Bani Hashish District, located in the Sanaa province. This attack resulted in the death of a female student and injuries to three others.
According to Yemen News Agency, the ministry described the airstrike as part of a broader pattern of assaults targeting civilians and the education sector, affecting students, teachers, and educational facilities.
The ministry has called upon international human rights and humanitarian organizations to denounce these attacks. It also urged the UN Security Council to fulfill its responsibility to protect civilians, homes, and educational institutions.
Furthermore, the ministry expressed disappointment over the international community's silence regarding these attacks against the Yemeni people, emphasizing that such actions violate international laws and conventions.
