Sana'a: An expanded meeting took place at the Ministry of Electricity, Energy and Water, led by Deputy Minister Adel Bader, to strategize the preparations for commemorating the Prophet's birthday anniversary, peace be upon him and his family. The meeting focused on ensuring that the preparations reflect the significance of this religious occasion.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was attended by key figures including Engineer Ahmed Al-Mutawakkil, the Ministry's Deputy for the Electricity Sector, Engineer Abdul Salam Al-Hakimi, the Assistant Deputy for the Water Sector, and Dr. Mishal Al-Rifai, the Director of the General Electricity Corporation. Deputy Minister Bader emphasized the need for comprehensive preparation, urging all bodies under the Ministry to engage in organizing events, cultural seminars, and social solidarity activities. He stressed enhancing efforts for cleanliness campaigns and mobilizing for the central event.
The Deputy Minister also highlighted the urgency in completing street lighting projects near government stations and encouraged private generator owners to aid in illuminating surrounding streets, fostering a spirit of community service and cooperation.
Contributions from heads of authorities and directors from various institutions under the Ministry were noted, underscoring the commitment to intensify efforts for the successful commemoration of the Prophet's birthday anniversary. The discussions included the need to proceed with decoration installations, ensuring safety around high-voltage stations, and maintaining service provision to citizens.
