Sana'a: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has issued a stern warning to the Israeli entity regarding its ongoing activities in Somalia, particularly concerning the recent decision to appoint an entity ambassador in Hargeisa. This move is viewed as a serious violation of international law and Somalia's sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Ministry emphasized that Israeli efforts to use the Somaliland region as a base for actions against Somalia and neighboring countries are destined to fail. The Ministry's statement underscores that such actions by the Israeli entity undermine regional security and stability, posing significant threats to the security of the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden, the Horn of Africa, international navigation, and global trade.
The Ministry has called upon countries bordering the Red Sea, along with Arab and Islamic nations, to take decisive measures against these Zionist schemes in Somalia. Additionally, the statement reaffirms the Republic of Yemen's unwavering support for the Somali people and the security and stability of Somalia. It further declares that any Israeli presence in the Somaliland region is unacceptable and will be actively opposed.
