Sana'a: The External Relations and Media Sector of the Ministry of Information organized a solidarity stand in Al-Sabeen Square with Lebanese journalist and political writer Hassan Aliq, following the legal persecution he is facing in Lebanon. During the event, Deputy Minister of Information Dr. Omar Al-Bakhiti emphasized the significance of supporting journalists' rights to freely express their positions and opinions without facing intimidation or persecution.
According to Yemen News Agency, the solidarity stand highlighted the Ministry's commitment to advocating for press freedom and underscored the challenges faced by journalists in expressing their viewpoints. The gathering aimed to send a strong message of support for Hassan Aliq and to call for the protection of journalists worldwide.
