Sana'a: The Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor commemorated on Wednesday the anniversary of al-Sarkha with a speech event under the slogan "al-Sarkha... A Weapon and a Stance." At the event, Deputy Minister Ibrahim al-Hamli explained that the cry is not merely words, but a culture and a vision that reinforces the concepts of glorifying God alone, rejecting all forms of subservience and submission to the forces of tyranny, and affirming that victory belongs to Islam. He added that if the nation acts within the framework of the slogan's principles and values, it will prevail.
According to Yemen News Agency, al-Hamli highlighted that the martyr leader, Sayyed Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi, launched his Quranic project, which restored the nation's guidance, while chanting the slogan of the cry, highlighting its significance and meaning in declaring disavowal of the nation's enemies, "America and Israel," and rejecting their criminal schemes.
Al-Hamli addressed the stages the slogan went through until it reached its current state of strength, empowerment, and victories, explaining that the slogan launched by the martyred leader achieved its intended goals in confronting the forces of global arrogance.
He pointed out that commemorating the slogan affirms the Yemeni people's adherence to its principles and objectives, and their steadfastness on the Quranic principles advocated by the martyred leader. He emphasized that the slogan is a source of pride and dignity for the nation in the face of its enemies.
The Deputy Minister of Social Affairs clarified that the slogan is not an emotional outburst, but rather a conscious Quranic stance stemming from faith in God, trust in His promise, and the certainty that the nation cannot rise while surrendering to its enemies, nor can it preserve its dignity while remaining silent in the face of crimes committed against its people and sacred sites.
