Taiz:A minor earthquake was detected in the Al-Janad area of Taiz Governorate early Sunday morning.

According to Yemen News Agency, the earthquake registered a magnitude of 2.1 on the Richter scale. It was recorded at 3:16 a.m. at a depth of 4 kilometers.

Mohammed Al-Houthi, Head of the Seismological and Volcanological Monitoring Center, confirmed that the tremor is part of ongoing seismic activity. He emphasized that the Center's stations continue to monitor and track seismic events across different regions of the Republic.
