Sana'a: Mohammed Ali Al-Houthi, a member of the Supreme Political Council, confirmed that the Yemeni support front for the people of Gaza has significantly proven its effectiveness after two years of the Al-Aqsa Flood, thwarting the enemies' alliance known as the Prosperity Alliance formed to confront it.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Houthi explained in an interview with Al-Masirah satellite channel that the Yemeni support front succeeded in intimidating the Israeli enemy and striking sensitive targets despite the considerable distance between Yemen and the occupied territories. Additionally, it imposed a comprehensive maritime siege on the enemy and confronted ships breaching the ban.
Al-Houthi indicated that the Yemeni support prompted the enemies to form a new alliance, which failed, known as the Prosperity Alliance. He noted that America deployed its aircraft carriers to confront the Yemeni movement, underscoring the front's effectiveness, which would not have provoked such reactions if it were insignificant.
The Supreme Political Council member commented on the Arab and Islamic stances, suggesting that even without military action, there are other avenues such as political and economic moves, including preventing the delivery of goods to the enemy. He cited examples like Spain's actions in confronting the enemy, closing coordination offices, and embassies in countries maintaining relations with Israel, urging similar steps as taken by some European countries.
In the television interview, Mohammed Ali Al-Houthi discussed the outcomes of the Al-Aqsa Flood operation from October 7 until now and the substantial responsibility borne by the Arab and Islamic nations in supporting the people of Gaza. He also addressed the need to confront the expansionist Israeli ambitions to establish the so-called Greater Israel, among other issues.
