Multiple Airstrikes Cause Casualties and Destruction Across Yemen

Sanaa:Various regions in Yemen experienced a series of airstrikes, resulting in numerous casualties and extensive damage to property.

According to Yemen News Agency, on October 7, 2015, a series of airstrikes targeted several governorates, leading to the deaths and injuries of civilians and the destruction of public and private properties. A truck driver transporting chickens was killed in Taiz Governorate, while other strikes damaged homes in Al-Mokha and Dhubab districts. In Hajjah Governorate, four citizens were injured, and airstrikes also hit farms in Haradh.

Further airstrikes in Al-Jawf Governorate targeted a fuel station and a market, killing livestock and causing material damage in Al-Hazm city and Al-Zahir District. In Sana'a Governorate, strikes damaged a farm in Sanhan District and hit multiple locations in Arhab District. Ten airstrikes in Saada Governorate destroyed a house and damaged others, with additional shelling by the Saudi army in border districts.

In Marib Governorate, over sixty airstrikes, some using phosphorous bombs, hit Sirwah District, and strikes destroyed Ain Bridge, affecting traffic between Shabwa and Marib. On October 7, 2016, a woman died and two were injured in Sana'a Governorate due to airstrikes on farms.

Amran, Al-Jawf, Hajjah, and Ibb governorates also experienced airstrikes, causing significant damage to farms and properties. Strikes in Al-Hodeidah city targeted farms and the Naval College. In Taiz Governorate, explosions were reported following bombings in Al-Mokha.

On October 7, 2017, airstrikes killed and injured twelve people in Taiz Governorate. The attacks continued across Al-Jawf, Shabwa, and Hajjah governorates, with cluster bombs dropped in Baqim District, Saada Governorate. The aggression continued with airstrikes in Jizan and Najran.

In 2018, shelling and airstrikes in Hodeidah Governorate resulted in deaths and injuries, while attacks in Sana'a Governorate destroyed property. Incidents in Taiz and Saada governorates caused further damage and casualties.

By October 7, 2020, artillery shelling in Saada Governorate resulted in casualties, with further strikes in Hodeidah and Al-Jawf governorates causing injuries and damage. By 2021, airstrikes in Saada and Marib governorates continued to impact civilians.

On October 7, 2023, combat fortifications were established by mercenaries in Hodeidah Governorate, with ongoing artillery and gunfire affecting various areas.
