Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange "MSM 30" index closed today at 4,863.32 points, marking an increase of 7.8 points or 0.16% from the last trading session, which concluded at 4,855.52 points. The trading value experienced a significant rise, reaching OMR 28,875,844. This represents a 38% increase compared to the previous session's trading value of OMR 20,921,057. According to Yemen News Agency, the daily report issued by the Muscat Stock Exchange highlighted a rise in market capitalization by 0.151% from the previous trading day, bringing it to approximately OMR 29.46 billion. The report also detailed the activity of non-Omani investors, who accounted for OMR 1,576,000 in purchases, making up 5.46% of the total buying activity. On the selling side, non-Omani investors accounted for OMR 1,648,000, representing 5.71% of total sales. Consequently, the net non-Omani investment saw a decrease of OMR 72,000, which equates to a decline of 0.25%.
